The Chloromax CCS142D is a digital free chlorine sensor for various water treatment process measurements. Even with flow or conductivity fluctuations, the sensor measures reliably and keeps the disinfection process on track, ensuring bacteria-free water. Low sensor maintenance saves time. With Memosens digital technology, the CCS142D offers maximum process and data integrity combined with simple operation. The sensor is corrosion-resistant and moisture-proof, and supports laboratory calibration and device pre-maintenance.
Benefits
Long calibration and maintenance intervals
Pre-assembled membrane cap for easy membrane replacement
Zero-point calibration is normally unnecessary, but should be matched to the minimum measured value where possible
Measured value unaffected by conductivity fluctuations
The sensor can be installed in the CCA250 flow assembly or in an immersion assembly. At flow rates above 30 l/h ~ 8 gal/h (CCA250) or above 15 cm/s ~ 0.5 ft/s (immersion installation), the actual measurement is unaffected by the flow
Non-contact inductive signal transmission for maximum process safety
Stores sensor characteristic parameters for simple operation
Application areas
The Chloromax CCS142D is used for free chlorine measurement in the following applications:
Drinking water
- Trace and standard measurement in water treatment processes and the water supply network - monitoring, control and optimization of the disinfection process
Wastewater treatment plant
- Wastewater reuse
Utilities
- Trace and standard measurement in all types of disinfection processes
- Process applications such as bottle washing machines
Swimming pool water
